The Ridge Meadows Flames are deeply saddened and heartbroken to hear of the tragic passing of Martin Hak. Hakker was a valued assistant coach with our organization for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons and was hugely instrumental in helping guide us to Back2Back championships in those years.
He made all of us around him better because of his positive attitude, his kindness, and his big heart. He was always willing to help anyone in need and his sense of humour brought laughter to all of us. He was more than a coach to all of us in our organization - he was a brother.
Martin you were the best of the best and your legacy will live on forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this very difficult time. The entire hockey family mourns together for the loss of such a great man!
